About your photographers

Bill Johnson and Art Gentile started Candidshooters.com after having spent the last 25 years working for various newspapers as award-winning Photojournalists. Over the years they have covered such a variety of events and created so many artistic and powerful images that they decided that others could benefit from their experience and talent.

As a favor they would occasionally shoot the wedding of a friend or an acquaintance. They would shoot the wedding like they were covering a major news story, chronicling each detail and looking for the perfect expression to define the moment. Their friends raved!

Art and Bill's photojournalistic approach to wedding photography is what separates Candidshooters from traditional wedding photographers. As your day unfolds, two photojournalists working together will be by your side covering every moment in detail.

Two photographers means twice the angles, twice the perspective and twice the number of candid moments caught.

The wedding day's story is told in photos, color and black and white, each one exposing the laughter, the emotion, the drama.
Art and Bill tend to shoot up to 800 photos during the day. Then they edit them down to the best 350 to 500 shots to create the ultimate collection.

Other wedding photographers may use the term "photojournalist wedding", Bill and Art are the real thing!
